A failed relationship creates stress, trauma and pressure over the mind and the soul. Some individuals may even turn depressive if proper action is not taken.

Only a few know that relationship is just a part of life and not the heart of life, but still, it leads to a heartbreak.

Meditation helps in calming and soothing the mind as well as relaxing the soul. Some of these techniques are enlisted below-

 

1. AVOID OVERTHINKING

Analyzing the situation of the break up over and over again shall not help to move on in life. Truth is that the break up has occurred and there is no near possibility that there shall be a patch up and coming back to each other.

What has happened has happened, there always is a new beginning. Your thoughts are more dangerous to you than the outside world

 

2. AVOID SAD SONGS ON THE PLAYLIST

It is just a breakup, so stop hovering over it and stop listening to sad or emotional songs on the playlist. Sad or emotional songs only trigger the past memories in the mind and create no new space for new and fresh ones.

Delete such songs and listen to energetic or rock songs which shall add positivity and space for new thoughts in the memory. So, sad songs are big no!

 

3. PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DISTANCE

It is quite necessary that a physical, as well as a mental distance, be created from the ex-boyfriend or ex-girlfriend such that the memories, agony and pain do not affect either of the partners who were a couple or in a relationship sometime back.

Because it is never the same thing for individuals after a breakup and things change drastically.

 

4. THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN LOVE AND ADDICTION

If one loves themselves then it is easier to move on in life and not think about the past, because in a relationship, one tends to forget to love oneself and concentrates to love the other. The other case is addiction or habit which a certain partner becomes, and is difficult to let go of an addiction or habit easily.

 

5. AVOID BECOMING ADDICTED

Addiction to anything is bad. Let it be drugs, cigarette, or alcohol, same is the case for a relationship. Addiction creates dependency on the other, which is bad as after a breakup it becomes hard to move on and seek a new and fresh beginning in life.

 

6. ONE SHOULD BE MENTALLY READY TO WALK AWAY IF NEEDED

If both the partners are at discomfort in a particular relationship, then the partners should be mentally strong to walk away from each other rather than continuing in dissatisfaction or unhappiness.

 

7. TOO MUCH EXPECTATION IS BAD

Expecting too much from the other is half as harmful as a destructive relationship because expectancy creates hopes. And if the expectancy is not met, then fights and dissatisfaction occur leading to a massive break-up of the sort.

 

8. PURSUING HOBBIES AND INTERESTS

Concentrating on hobbies or interests diverts the thoughts of the past and helps in concentrating on oneself and develop their hobbies or interests. Hobbies and interests are positive and encouraging rather than a past or failure.

 

9. FRIENDS AND SOCIAL CIRCLE

This does not mean that having 1000 friends over social media and no real friend. It is real friends that help in moving over a failed relationship as they do not judge you.

 

10. THE END OF SOMETHING IS THE BEGINNING OF A NEW THING

Do not cry or be emotional about a past or failed relationship. Because he or she may not the one who is suitable as your life partner. There may be someone else who is compatible with you. Hence, one should be bold enough to end a certain relation and begin a new one.

 

11. SELF-RESPECT

If due consideration is not being given to a partner in relation, then one should not end up in such a relationship and hover or demand for respect, indirectly leading to losing self-respect which is actually harmful to an individual.

 

12. OPTIONS TO HAPPINESS

It is not that only a partner or love can give happiness. Happiness can be derived from other sources also. Like swimming, watching movies, listening to songs, going out with friends and so on.
